Specialty Division Director
Elevate specialized services. Strengthen cross-departmental systems. Champion outcome excellence
About the Role
CAPSA is hiring a strategic and collaborative Specialty Division Director to oversee Clinical Services, Youth Programs, and the Crisis Line. This senior leadership role ensures that each program delivers high-quality, trauma-informed care while maintaining alignment with CAPSA's mission and broader organizational goals. With a strong focus on cross-departmental collaboration, elevating crisis services, and systems-level thinking, this role plays a critical part in expanding CAPSA's impact and reach.
As part of the Program Leadership Team, the Specialty Division Director guides program leaders, manages data-informed improvement efforts, and strengthens internal systems that support service integration. This position is ideal for a leader who combines clinical insight with operational discipline-someone who can develop people, build cohesion across departments, and translate vision into effective services and measurable outcomes.
This is a new leadership role established to support CAPSA's expanding services and to help ensure long-term impact and mission fulfillment.
What You'll Do
- Support the Clinical Director in delivering high-quality therapeutic services, integrating clinical best practices, and maintaining compliance with licensing and ethical standards.
- Support the Youth Director in expanding program offerings, improving outcomes for young survivors, and advancing youth-specific trauma-informed strategies.
- Support the Crisis Line Coordinators in sustaining 24/7 response services, strengthening volunteer engagement, and ensuring compassionate, consistent crisis support.
- Align specialty services with CAPSA's mission and strategic plan in partnership with the CPO and other division leaders.
- Oversee KPIs, licensing, and funder compliance for Clinical, Youth, and Crisis Line programs-translating metrics into continuous improvement.
- Oversee the Clinical Director, Youth Director, and Crisis Line Coordinators, fostering growth, accountability, and service excellence.
- Design and monitor training initiatives that elevate staff capacity and unify trauma-informed practices across all programs.
- Coordinate audits and prepare data-driven reports that demonstrate impact and drive operational decisions.
- Represent CAPSA in community collaborations, spotlighting successes that fuel fundraising, awareness, and innovation.
What You'll Bring
You hold a master's degree in a related field and have at least three years of senior leadership experience-ideally guiding clinical or youth-focused services. You balance empathy with evidence, leveraging trauma-informed expertise to build cohesive teams and measurable outcomes. Whether streamlining crisis protocols or launching new youth initiatives, you bring steady insight, collaborative spirit, and a relentless commitment to survivor-centered care.
You'll Excel in This Role If You Are
- A strategic thinker who sees the links between program quality, data, and mission impact.
- Skilled at leading through change and cultivating alignment among diverse, specialized teams.
- Adept at analyzing KPIs, audits, and trends-then turning them into clear decisions and communications.
- Passionate about trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches and committed to equity for underserved populations.
- A relationship-builder who thrives on collaboration with staff, funders, and community partners.
