Make a Difference Every Day

CAPSA is seeking a compassionate and organized Children's Center Coordinator to lead the daily operations of our on-site Children's Center. This unique role blends early childhood education with trauma-informed care, supporting both employee families and child survivor clients in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally rich environment.

If you're passionate about early childhood development, thrive in dynamic care settings, and want to be part of a mission-driven team, we invite you to apply.

What You'll Do

As the Children's Center Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead the daily operations of the Children's Center including scheduling, staffing, and room management
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Care Providers, supporting their growth and development
  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and internal staff
  • Support a trauma-informed, welcoming environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
  • Collaborate with CAPSA's Youth Advocates to support child survivor clients
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and budget needs for the daycare program

Who You Are

You're a dedicated childcare professional with hands-on experience supporting young children in early learning environments. You understand the developmental needs of children from 6 weeks to 6 years and bring a trauma-informed, nurturing approach to your work. You're confident leading a team, mentoring others, and creating a safe, engaging space where children can thrive. You communicate clearly with both children and adults, stay organized in fast-paced settings, and handle challenges with calm and care. You may hold a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or bring equivalent experience and a strong commitment to professional growth. You're certified or willing to become certified in CPR and First Aid, and you're comfortable managing records, routines, and regulatory requirements. Above all, you're passionate about building meaningful relationships, empowering staff, and contributing to a mission that supports healing and hope.
